The Department of International Relations and Cooperation has developed a software programme, ROSA (Registration of South Africans Abroad), allowing travelers to register online.
The unique system will assist the government to track South African citizens traveling abroad in case of emergency. Travelers can simply use ROSA to register and deregister their profiles online. ROSA is an initiative that is endorsed and supported by the Association of South African Travel Agents (Asata).
More information can be found on the department’s website using the following link: http://www.dfa.gov.za/consular/index.html.
