Golf Events

Annual golf days are often a very good opportunity for corporations to invite their biggest clients, advertise their business and display their branding. Such golf events have become an effective marketing tool.

The services of an event organizer is often used to organize large golf events. Some of these organizers specialise in golf events and they would usually have a list of golf venues for the client to choose from. This will often depend to a large degree on geographical proximity and venue hire cost.

When organizing a golf event, several aspects must be considered. Travel arrangements to and from the venue must be made and all the guests must know how to get there. Meals must be planned, including drinks vouchers for players so that they need not carry cash. Special dietary requirements must be noted.

Often, sponsorships are secured to sponsor certain holes or perhaps a 4-ball. The sponsors are then allowed to display their branding at their respective holes. They can also arrange entertainment for the evening in the form of a guest artist.
