The travel company should have a full suite of services to make much of an impression amidst the competition out there. No longer is it sufficient to book the client’s airline ticket and put him on a luxury coach him onto a luxury coach plodding through ancient Europe. Today’s travellers require more, and the travel company that has a competitive edge will win and retain more travellers.

This sentiment has seen much diversification happen in the travel industry. Some travel companies are aimed exclusively at business people. They know what travelling executives need and know how they should be treated. They have made it their business to get to know their clientele so well that many a tired executive knows just who to phone if he needs to go to that seminar in New York and does not want to fret about the arrangements to get him there and back.
